Adrian. My name is a form of the Latin given name Adrianus or Hadrianus. Its ultimate origin is most likely via the former river Adria from the Venetic and Illyrian word adur,meaning 'sea' or 'water', in scientific terms. My first name was given to me by my father who claims to have read a novel about a French Ace pilot named Adrian. He really like the name and, so he decided to give the name to me. It might be a little cringe, but they didn’t spend their time looking for baby names on google or at a baby book filled with names. I don’t really look up to any one with the same name as me. I believe that my name represents/ reflects me, because I am the first in my family to have this name----- unlike my brother. I would never want to change my name for one: my parents gave me that name and to me it sounds smart.
